Lotsa Pink
I wonder if the only difference between being good at something or obsessed is whether or not people see the whole process or just the final product. If they went through my camera after an outing I think they would see the obsessed. Admittidly I tend to get carried away with many projects, not just photography. But here I have my own personal blog where I can let my obsession hang out! I have tried to cut out the repetitive and unecessary- but only a bit.

Eagle Park and Drive
I love spring in Oregon! This was on a drive up to the top of the mountain with the windows rolled down. Just imagine, if you can, the spring smell of new grass in evening air with the birds singing as the backdrop for these pictures.

Long Exposure
These are some older shots its taken me awhile to upload. Since I have trouble with the technical jargon I did some research specifically to my camera and discovered the section where I can leave the exposure open to 15 seconds. How cool! So many new possibilities.
Since you need a firm something to set your camera on for long exposure to leave it for a bit, I was happy to take these from inside. I did do a little experimenting along the road but even if I did use a tripod which I didn't, stopping to take pictures of cars going by is a little, um, weird. At least I would think so if I was in the car.
These are my first starry night pictures. Not exactly impressive in and of themselves, but cool for me because they are the first star shots I've gotten. I love being able to take pictures at night. This did have some house lighting also, but whatever. Night!

I went back through some of my old photos to see which ones could be new and improved with Gimp.

I've been noticing a huge trend in flowers here. What can I say? They're photogenic, they hold still and they become translucent in the light. However, I was starting to feel a bit unbalanced with the extreme of girliness.
So I threw in a frog.
Which could fit in right with the flowers if you think about all the wonderful versions of The Frog Prince out there.
And my butterfly-turned-phoenix, just because it's cool.
